Where are we going today?

Golden in the morning sun, silvered by moonlight, Grayton Beach has consistently been ranked among the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the United States. The beach provides an idyllic setting for swimming, sunbathing, and surf fishing. Visitors can paddle a canoe or kayak on scenic Western Lake to get a closer look at a salt marsh ecosystem. A boat ramp provides access to the lake's brackish waters for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. A nature trail winds through a coastal forest where scrub oaks and magnolias, bent and twisted by salt winds, have an eerie "Middle Earth" look. Hikers and bicyclists can enjoy over four miles of trails through pine flatwoods

The beaches are not crowded this is a great park. They are very clean. The staff were very friendly. There are lots of places to barbecue or grill. There are also places to shower after using the beach. you can also rent a lot if you have a recreational vehicle. There are also cabins available if you want to go that route. Check out the website for more information.

Rented canoes from here which was a really good deal. Only $10-15 but they only have three available. It would be nice to have a few more and maybe even kayak rentals. The park is beautiful and has nice remote beaches. The staff is friendly as well.

Spent my Christmas vacation here and I found me new favorite place to spend my weekends...you can walk to the beach or take your RV and drive it right up to the beach...we had breakfast beach side one day and it was awesome...my only regret is that I didn't have a bike to ride down through seaside which is very close...this is one park to visit...

Went over the 4th of July weekend and stayed in one of the cabins w/husband, son & dil & 2 grandsons. Had a VERY relaxing and fun time. No tvs, no phones, was so peaceful and relaxing! Yes, cabins are plain, but clean and well cared for. Look just like the pics online. Could have walked to the beach, but opted for car to boardwalk because of all our "stuff". Over the holiday weekend we were so secluded- no crowds, noisy people, had plenty of room on the beach. I just can't say enough good things about it. Over the holiday weekend we were so secluded- no crowds, noisy people, had plenty of room on the beach. I just can't say enough good things about it. I haves worked in the travel industry for many years and stayed at many 5 star hotels in many countries, but I can honestly say that my stay at Grayton Beach was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The beach and water are the best,as good as or better than the Caribbean Islands. Can't beat it.
