Our driver was Kathy. Very knowledgable and witty, without overdoing it. We stayed on the entire tour, though you can exit and wait an hour for the next bus to arrive. I took notes and plan on using our second free day (which doesn’t need to be consecutive) to have the trolley be our shuttle to a couple of the locations and avoid parking fees. We took the tour our first morning of vacation in Asheville. I thought I had a good plan of action, but this gave us new attractions we want to see and also made me cross a few things off of our list. We took our two and a half year old and he was pretty entertained by looking out the window for the whole ride. We went in December, so the plastic sides were down; I imagine the ride would’ve been much less toddler-friendly if I had to be trying to keep him from falling out of the windows. Recommend.
