Where are we going today?

Kids - what's worse that having to choose between a theme park or a water park for that family day out you've been looking forward so much for?

Well, we say why choose!? Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is TWO parks for just the one ticket, so you can have twice the fun with your family!

Are you excited to hear what these parks have to offer? We certainly are! How about...dinosaurs! Wait, did you think we were going to start with rides? Oh no....because there are DINOSAURS!

Dinosaurs Alive take you back in time millions of years into the world of these prehistoric creatures. This animatronic experience brings you face to face with more than 30 life sized dinosaurs, some even up to 40 feet tall.

You just follow the wooden path, and then you can learn all about how they lived, what they ate, and even how they protected themselves. Pretty cool!

And now it's ride time! If you want coaster that will make your hair stand on end, Dorney Park is certainly the place you want to be. You can be shot through the sky, turned upside town, launched forwards and backwards and lifted up nearly 140 feet. With rides called names such as the Stinger and Possessed, you know you are in for a treat!

Parents, don't worry if you have younger kids because Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom have a host of family rides, including train rides, carousels, ferris wheels and car experiences for those little ones. There is even Planet Snoopy which is a mini theme park JUST for kids! They can experience balloons, buses and their favorite Peanuts characters too!

We haven't even begun to tell you about how to make a splash at Wildwater Kingdom! With slides, pools and rivers, you can really cool off in that Pennsylvania heat!

How exciting does that sound!?

While it can get crowded on weekends it is a real pleasure to be in a clean and real relaxed park meant to be enjoyed by a damily. Young Teens Have Their Area And Young Kids Have theirnown. I feel comfortable brining my son and always enjoy the day there. We have been at the park around 12 times this summer and I will renew my pass again on Halloween so I get the super discount

Spent a ton of money to take family to Dorney Park, and of course it rained! It is very dissapointing that this park will not give a rain pass for at least the following day. Took my daughter here for her birthday and no kidding, she did not even get to ride one ride in the amusemnet park, she did ride some water slides. Just difficult to see your child upset and know that you cannot afford to pay to go the following day because the price is so expensive. Dorney makes so much money come on and help the little guy when you just got all my money!...Read More

We have a season pass this and also last year since we live only 40 to 45 minutes away, which is a plus. Dorney's rides that we really enjoy are Crazy Mouse, Swings, Hydra, Talon, Dominator, Revolution, Thunder Hawk and Possessed. We also enjoy Steel Force and have ridden it many times. The last time we were at Dorney was Memorial Day weekend and witnessed a group of riders getting stuck at the top of the first lift. My 9 year old and I were one ride short of being on it and lucky to be spared this one. The staff seemed well trained and did a great...Read More

We were there on Sunday, 8/10. There were so MANY people, the lines were ridicously long. There are people who are trying to cut lines, etc...

We waited 1 hours on line just to get a box of chicken stripes. The staff serving lunch were so slow.

At night when we exited, the parking lot was like a dump. There were trash everywhere and there were taquilla bottles on the ground.

    We will not go again.

Great family park with all the thrills and fun a person could want. Plenty of rides for little children as well as for the big ones. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. A real gem!

We were so relieved that everyone was ok! Unfortunately, some rides do sometimes get stuck. This was frightening to watch though. Overall, Dorney is a great and fun park!
