From the Bayou, to the farmland, across the grasslands, deep into South/Central America, and top that off with the Wetlands and the Woodlands, your day out at Elmwood Park Zoo really can show you animals from all habitats for that WILD day out!
Elmwood Park Zoo is home to over 150 animals, who live in their natural settings, which means you can really observe and explore animals how they would naturally be in the wild.
It's a day of fun, adventure, wildlife, and some Treetop Adventures too!
Elmwood Park Zoo have mammals, amphibians, birds, fish, reptiles, and yes even those creepy crawlies that kids can come face to face with, and learn all about.
You can meet your favorites, whether it's the long necked giraffe, the iconic American bison, or the jaguar. Or perhaps you want to go and uncover some species that you have never heard of before. Coati anyone?
There are stunning birds from the Bald Eagle, the barn owl, right down to the hawks, vultures, and even domestic chicken! Kids can meet those stunning koi, or brave the alligators and snakes!
And yes, they have tarantualas and scorpions too if you are feeling super brave!
But what would a day out at the zoo be without some adventure, and that's where Treetop Adventures comes in! Treetop Adventures has over 70 challenge games, and zip lines, which take you up to 50ft above the ground - giving you an amazing birds eye view of the zoo - and you can actually zip line OVER the animals too!
