Shankweiler is a drive-in theatre and is one of America's oldest! Since 1934, it has been providing America with affordable, quality and memorable entertainment with a unforgettable moviegoing experience! 

The drive-in theatre has lasted through changing technology, going from speakers to digital projection and surround sound, it even survived 1955's Hurricane Diane! Showtime is usually 20 minutes after sundown, and the box office opens two hours before the show. 

Admission includes both movies in a double feature, and you simply use your car radio to bring the movie to life! It's known to sell out, so make sure to arrive early to grab yourself a good spot, and some snacks before the show. 

The theatre is open rain or shine and they have lots of first and second run titles to enjoy, so just check the website before booking so you know what's on. 

They offers a wide variety of treats from meals to snacks which you can purchase and eat under the stars!
