We are from New York and we visited this center with ASTC Travel Passport Program in May. That means free admission for ASTC members. And we liked this center. It is newer and quite a pleasure to visit. They are having Space exhibition and do not honor the Passport Program when we visit again in July. It is not understandable that their ticket price stays the same but charge differently (extra $7) for ASTC members.

Got to touch the moon which came out of the Smithsonian for a traveling exhibition!Great spot for the kids we had 5 of them there with us Eighteen, Fourteen, Three and a half, two and a half, and our then soon to be one year old. Everyone of them was able to find something they were interested in and wanted to learn more of. Prices were fair and I would refer this business to friends, family and travelers alike. Luis Biggs

It’s really for older kids, like 7-9. My young son enjoys the toddler area. Just avoid coming between 11 and 2 when schools or camps visit. Really well kept beautiful and clean.

I had a blast exploring this science center with my daughter. The staff were helpful and friendly, the Bodies Revealed exhibit was awesome, the classroom presentations were fun (my favorite was the liquid body armor one, where I finally got to see D3O putty up close), and all of the interactive exhibits were great. It is definitely a fun place for both kids and adults.

I brought 94 second grade students for a special “See Like the Bees” workshop to fit with our insect curriculum and I, and my three colleagues were happily impressed! The staff met us at our bus, expediated us through check-in financial stuff, then turned us over to bright college aged guides who led us through a delightful tour! Lunch was smooth, gift shopping had the MOST patient clerks! Who ever is directing the science center now….I’ve been taking kids to the old Bethelem Steel facility on 3rd st for ages, whom ever is director now, Kudos to you! And e-mail me, i may want to partner with you in some new children’s theater ventures!Phil Markley
