My family and I visited this location and I must say, we were all extremely pleased. The staff is awesome. Very attentive, very helpful, friendly, talkative, pleasant. The best part, I must admit was the floating restaurant. Just genius. Since everyone is just relaxing, you have a huge worry of your mind about packing food. The only, little oversight, is the long line before getting on the bus, but with such awesome service, it is worth the wait.

This was my second time going here and it was a great experience last year and this year they’ve came through and more. This year with the changing tents and the steps at the end of the ride really helped a lot of people exiting the river. I know last year the core of engineers wouldn’t let steps be in place but to see the persistence pay off is great to see. Great employees and overall a great trip. I’ll be coming back next year! Thank you again

This tubing outfitter is good. With any “outdoor” company, there is a level of laidback-ness to the business. Expect to wait to pay and get checked in for a few minutes and to wait for your turn to get on a bus to the start. They have basic facilities (port-a-potties and changing tents) available. This isn’t supposed to be a 5-Star attraction, it is an outdoor water sport. They have built stairs at the exit so that isn’t an issue anymore (see older reviews) and the entrance is on a boat launch so it is easy to enter and exit the river. The hot dog cart is a novelty. Don’t expect a Master Chef lunch and you won’t be disappointed. If you are expected high end, you will be disappointed. If you are expecting a tubing trip on a fresh river, you won’t be disappointed.

For those that are complaining about the wait for the food – at least you got food! We bought a groupon for them last summer but they were closed every time we tried to go. This summer they wouldn’t honor the groupon price – meaning we ended up paying the jacked up full price for tubing and lunch. Then the famous hot dog man was closed. So no lunch. Some other groups got free lunch at the place you park – we didn’t – don’t know why. Will not go back to them – will go to the company right across the river Bucks County PA instead – they are located on the River so you aren’t sitting around waiting when you are done tubing. No having to carry tubes up a hill to stand waiting for a bus. I would have given 2 stars but that would probably raise their average.

I have never felt the need to write an online review on anything before, but this past Sunday’s experience at Delaware River Tubing has forced me to warn all prospective river riders. DO NOT GO HERE! I have tubed down the Delaware in the past, but NEVER have I ever had an experience like the one I had with this “so-called” company. To start things off, I call their office ahead of time to ask if they accept debit/credit or if we would need to bring cash because it does not specify on their website. The person I speak with informs me that they accept both, so my boyfriend and I don’t bother stopping for any cash. As we pull up around 11:30AM to park, there is a most helpful sign that reads “Tubers this way”. Already in the line to park, we see a sign up ahead (not readily seen while pulling into the lot) that lists prices for parking. Guess what!? We need cash to park! How lovely! We pull up to the man that is collecting the money and tell him that when we had called earlier, we were told we would not need cash for parking. He answers, “Well the office is different than parking…” Of course, I should know that right?! He pointed us to the ATM on the premises and my boyfriend pulls over so I can take some cash out. After pushing my way through the crowd of people blocking the ATM, I quickly discover that it is out of order. How convenient! I squeeze back out to the car and let my boyfriend know the bad news. We wanted to turn back around and drive home, but we were already here and we were ready to tube, dammit! We drive a couple miles down the road to a convenience store to take out money and head back. After waiting in an even longer line to park than previously, we are finally in the line to pay. We wait an HOUR to pay for a double tube that cost us $75 bucks. Thinking that was the worst of it, I start to let out a quick sigh of relief, that is, until I saw that we were getting into yet ANOTHER line to collect our life preservers and tubes. We were in this line for over an hour! Not to mention, the people in line just pulling out cigarettes and smoking right next to us and the numerous families also waiting. So let’s recap, we started in the first line around 11:45AM. We did not actually start tubing until AFTER 2PM! In short, DO NOT GO HERE! If you are thinking of tubing down the Delaware, save yourself A LOT of time, A LOT of money, and A LOT of patience, and just buy a couple tubes at Walmart, and go yourself!
