Where are we going today?

The Children's Museum at Holyoke provides a unique setting in which children and adults learn together about art, science and the world around them. Through hands-on exhibits, children challenge themselves, discover how the world works, explore new roles for themselves, and learn by doing.

We went to the Museum on superbowl sunday, 2012. Me and my mother took my then 18 month old. It was overall a great time although it will be more fun when he's older. They had a giant playscape that he was too small for that looked really cool. But there were lots of things that he was able to do. The fire truck and kitchen area were a big hit. He watched a nice employee make him his very own paper, made from recycled paper pulp. He also like the giant bubble maker. Actually EVERYONE liked the giant bubbles! I seldom write a bad review on anything. I believe there is a little good in just about everything...or so I thought until I visited this place...it's a complete waste of time and money. very small, cluttered, loud and messy. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and will definitely not be going back.

We have a membership.my kids love it. Yes sometimes it can be crowded but you can deal with it for your kids.

There was also a water area and he got a bit wet even with the provided smocks. But they had hand dryers that I used to dry the sleeves of his shirt. The admission was $6 which was ok but I hate paying full price for a 1 year old. Fun time overall and went to the indoor Carousel afterwards. Also there is no designated parking we parked on the street at a meter and put in about $2 then realized you only pay Monday-Friday.
