There is something mystical and magical about Louisiana and the Cajun beauty. With Cajun Critters Swamp Tours, your family can experience it for themselves!
Cajun Critters Swamp Tours will take you on a journey into the world of Louisiana's backwaters - a place where Indians and pirates once roamed.
The beautiful cypress trees draped all over with Spanish moss will create (quite a spooky!) atmosphere around you. Can you see the water lilies and wild flowers? Nice and relaxing for the family, you will cruise through bayous and swamps which are carpeted by the very unusual Duckbill grass.
Don't forget to keep an eye out for the wildlife! After all, the swamps are teeming with them!
Migrating songbirds will fly above your head, and you might be lucky to spoke the Great Blue Herons, or the Pelicans...maybe you will even see a Bald Eagle!
If you look REALLY closely in to the waters edges, you might be lucky to spot an otter or a Mink swimming to the opposite back. On land, there is more wildlife to spot! Ducks, armadillos, deer and rabbit are just some of the amazing animals you might encounter.
Of course...if you spoke something shiny glistening out from the water, it might just be the eyes of a very hungry alligator! (A good reason not to dangle your feet off the edge of the boat!)
Your tour will take place on the amazing Swamp Queen, which is a fully Coast Guar approved vessel, so don't worry, you'll be safe! It gives your family that added comfort to your experience.
If you've ever seen those images of little wooden shacks on the edge of the bayou, they're still there! Your tour with Cajun Critters Swamp Tours pass by these places that for years fisherman have been selling their catch. The restaurant that the tour will stop off even uses these fisherman - an amazing experience!
