Adventures Unlimited is a great place to come as a family or a romantic get away ! The staff is always friendly and professional. They have so many things to offer zip lining, cabins, campsites, and river trips just to name a few! Everytime I have been there I have always been treated great and I will continue coming to AUOC!

While a beautiful place to Kayak, its dangerous and the staff doesn't care about its customers. When we got there no one was attentive. They didn't help us pick out proper life jackets or paddles. They barely gave us instructions on where to go to get in the kayaks or what to expect on the trail.

They also lied to us about the depth of the water. When we called ahead they said the water was going to be two to four feet. Sometimes the water was at least 8 feet deep and my mother almost drowned when she fell in the water. If it weren't for my uncle...Read More

This is a clean, well run business. My daughter and I came on weekend package that included 3x overnights in school house inn and 2 days of activities. The first day was zipline guided by Kevin and Dan, the second day was 11 mile kayak trip. Beautiful well kept grounds and facilities w excellent equipment. Note my cell phone (tmobile) did not have coverage there but ATT did. They had strong/fast WiFi.

If your looking for a great time on the river, zipping on the lines through the forest, or just snuggling up in a nice little cottage, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO :D

I love adventures unlimited, those people have great hearts and good business sense!

They also lied to us about the depth of the water. When we called ahead they said the water was going to be two to four feet. Sometimes the water was at least 8 feet deep and my mother almost drowned when she fell in the water. If it weren't for my uncle we would have had a tragedy on our hands. My mother is a great swimmer but an 8 feet deep moving river isn't what we signed up for.

Lastly there are no mile markers and no way to get help while on the river if indeed something happens. We were on our own. There wasn't even anyone there when we finished, everyone had gone home. No one was there to help us pull in our kayaks or paddles and we could have easily passed the exit and been who knows where on the river.

I love Kayaking, but I'll never again go back to that shady place.
