We visited the museum as part of a museum exhibits class. The exhibits curator was our guide and he couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were introduced to the mission of the museum through a well thought out video presentation. The museum showcases motifs that pertain to the Mennonite experience in Kansas, including encounters with other cultures, the prairie, and living with the land. I thought the exhibit cases were professional looking however, the copy was sometimes hard to read, due to the size and placement in the cases. Overall, the museum did a good job of covering the motifs with artifacts that illustrated the various experiences of the Mennonites. I enjoyed the visit, and would recommend visiting this small, friendly, and informative museum. Exquisitive!
