The counters are equipped with a hearing loop system, and the staff have been trained to use it and are available to provide assistance if needed.

The Shard does not have fixed seating on the viewing platforms, but they can provide chairs upon request. We also have wheelchairs available for loan to ensure a comfortable visit for all our guests.
The staff at The Shard are trained in disability awareness and are prepared to assist with evacuation, whether it be out of the building or to a designated refuge area, if necessary.
