About this activity

The Household Cavalry Museum is a living museum in the heart of Horse Guards in London. It celebrate the history of The Household Cavalry and you'll get a unique behind the scenes look at wohat goes into the ceremonial role. 

On your visit you'll be able to dress like a cavalryman wearing the tunics and hemets and see if you've what it takes to protect the Monarch at home and abroad! You'll see the Regiment in action during the hourly sentry changes, morning guard changing and afternoon inspection. 

Don't forget, they have working stables too! So you'll learn about what it takes to care for the many beautiful horses. You can also arrange a guided tour too if you want someone to take you round, they'll tell you lots of interesting facts along the way! 

The museum is completley intractive, with videos, interviews and multimedia guides all included in the ticket price. 

They have lots of school workshops, school holidays events and activities, so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening.
