About this activity

The National Gallery in the heart of London's Trafalgar Square is one of the most impressive museums in the city, and with free entry (like many of London's museums!), there is no reason to not stop in to see the amazing exhibitions and collections that reside within.

It's at the National Gallery that children and adults alike can come face to face with artwork from some of the world's most renowned artists. Kids can learn all about Turner's techniques, or marvel at Impressionism paintings.

Learn what Renaissance means, uncover the Italian masters, take in the works of Dutch masters. It's an art-tastic day out where you can explore art throughout the centuries, see how techniques changed, and understand the changing history through styles and content reflected within the art.

Keep an eye for any events they offers too, from the free daily guided tours, to half-term fun for kids and short term exhibitions showcasing some of the most incredible artists in the world!

A must for any family in London!
