The Tropical Seas exhibit is where you can explore the wonders of the deep. This is where the aquarium lets you dive into the deep blue sea and witness a unique marine ecosystem. Tropical Seas is home to a wide variety of colourful fish and marine creatures. You can see water turtles swimming in the tank and hear parrotfish and wrasses chowing down on algae. You can even see them climbing onto rocks to groom themselves. Tropical Seas is a great way to learn about the deep blue sea and its inhabitants. This exhibit is home to the largest jellyfish tank in Europe. The Hydrozoa exhibit lets you get right up close to the jellyfish and experience them in their natural habitat. Jellyfish are rarely seen in their natural habitat, so this exhibit gives you a rare opportunity to explore their world. You can walk through the jellyfish tank and come face-to-face with these mesmerizing creatures. The Jellyfish exhibit is home to the Atlantic jellyfish, which is found in the waters off the coast of the UK. This is an amazing opportunity to get a real glimpse into the underwater life in that part of the world.

This exhibit is home to over 70 jellyfish, which are carefully transported from the coasts of the UK and Ireland, where they are found. Atlantic jellyfish are amazing creatures. They are masters of disguise that blend in with the natural environment to avoid being eaten. They also come equipped with potent stinging cells that can paralyze fish and other animals that might pose a threat to them. Atlantic jellyfish are graceful swimmers and are able to propel themselves forward with ease, thanks to their colourful bell-shaped tops. You can see them in action at the , where they gently float around their tanks, seemingly mesmerizing visitors as they go. Jellyfish are incredible creatures that are truly worthy of admiration and protection. They have been around since before the dinosaurs and have survived five mass extinctions. Jellyfish are vital to the marine ecosystems that are found in the oceans and seas around the world.

The oceans are home to many different species of sharks and rays. The Majestic Sharks exhibit lets you get a great view of these fascinating creatures as they swim around their spacious tanks. You can see the sand tiger sharks, zebra sharks, common rays, and many more species. The sand tiger sharks are one of the most fascinating species of sharks in the Majestic Sharks exhibit. These sharks are closely related to great white sharks, having evolved from a common ancestor around 100 million years ago. The sand tiger sharks are found in coastal waters all over the world, where they hunt for their favourite prey: fish.

Directions

Westminster and Waterloo tubes are the near est stations. From the station take exit 1, cross Westminster Bridge and take the first left onto the Thames Path. The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is on your right. From Waterloo follow the South bank (exit 6), and then take a right, following the signs for the Thames Path and Jubilee Gardens. Once on the river front continue past the London Eye and the Aquarium is on your left.

SEA LIFE London Aquarium FAQ’s

The Sea Life London Aquarium works hard to protect and conserve the aquatic life found in the ocean, including jellyfish and sharks. They have been supporting the Sea Life Conservation charity since 2004, helping to protect aquatic life all over the world.

There are baby changing facilities in both female, male and disabled toilets.

No eating or drinking inside (cafes nearby in County Hall).

Souvenir Shop sells a number of fun toys and gifts themed around the undersea world.

Lots of great teaching opportunities around conservation and the undersea world.

Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities provided.

There are baby changing facilities in both female, male and disabled toilets.

You are more than welcome to bring a buggy into attraction as they are fully accessible with lifts throughout the aquarium. They also have a free buggy bay if you wish to leave your Buggy during peak seasons.
