Green Park is one of the Royal Parks offering large open spaces with iconic British landscaping. There are trees, grasslands and wildlife that makes it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and it's right next to Buckingham Palace!
The park covers an area of 40 acres in total, and there's plenty to explore and do with the whole family. At the park you'll also see the Royal Gun Salutes on special days that mark royal occasions, and there's an extra 20 rounds because they're at a royal park! They're usually fired at midday, so check the website before you visit so you know when they are!
If you want someone to sit down, why not sit on one of their deck chairs? They're available from March to October during daylight hours, weather permitting.
The Bomber Command Meorial commemorates the people who died during the Second World War and it's located at Green Park along Piccadily. Within the memorial are the bronze sculptures of a Bomber Command aircrew.
They also hold special events year round here, so make sure you keep an eye on the website before you visit!
