Clissold Park is one of Hackney's best loved traditional parks and opened in 1889! It holds a number of Green Flag awards and has lots of facilities and amenties for a great family day out!
There is a spash pad at the site where the kids can run and have some fun! It's from from May to September and free to use every weekend. There is also Cissold House at the park which is a Grade II listed building in the middle of the park.
They also have some animals here too including birds, goats and some fallow deer! Make sure you don't feed them as they have special diets but you can take some pictures and see what you can find! There is also an aviary too!
At the park there is a children's play area where the kids can run, jump and climb and burn off some energy, as well as a multi-use games area where you can get active and play some sports.
You'll also find a pond dipping platform and lots of fountains and rivers which provide a tranquil space to relax.
