About Hardwick Park

Hardwick Park is a country park and is a great place to visit any time of the year! It's free to enter too and there's lots to see, from woodlands, wildlife and regular events for the little ones.

Stroll through the historic parkland and admire the lakes, woodland and wildlife. Pop by the visitor centre to learn about the history and restoration of the park too, and browse the fit shop and have a drink in the cafe!

The park has won a Green Flag Award too, so it's well managed and has plenty of open spaces for all to enjoy! There's also designated barbecue areas and picnic benches too that you get the whole family involved with.

The park hold lots of events, particularly through the school holidays and are designed for children to get outdoors and learn all about nature.

Complete challenges and get creative by exploring some minibeasts, insects, and get involved in some craft activities, stories and interactive park trails.
