The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving for the public the outstanding achievements of local sportsfolk, a far from narrow topic as 659 individuals and 34 different sports are represented. It's the place where legends live!
Galleries include Paralympic Games, Canada Olympics and Great Sporting Moments. Exhibits range from significant clothing, sports equipment and trophies to charcoal artwork of the Hall's honoured members.You can even play your favourite games in the Sports Simulator, experience stories from inducted members in the Virtual Locker Room and see the science behind it all in the Discovery Centre!
Honour the legends in the shrine. The athletes showcased are some who have reched the highest level of achievements, it's a place where inspiration lives too! The Sports Hall of Fame has over 230 charcoal portraits and represent lots of different sports. In total there are over 9,000 artefacts, from art, photographs, heirlooms and so much more. Come and experience the magic of sport!
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame Inc. is housed in the John Thurston Clark Memorial Building, 503 Queen Street, Fredericton, in an area known as the Historic Garrison District. To find the Sports Hall of Fame, follow the directions to "Fredericton City Center". The Clark Building is located on the corner of Queen and Carleton Streets, in the heart of the city. It is just one block from City Hall and on the self-guided walking tour of downtown Fredericton.
