Beaverbrook Art Gallery features works by Canadian, British and international artists, this is an extensive and eclectic mix of mediums and subjects which keeps the whole family of all ages engaged and inspired.
The Beaverbrook collection was established all the way back in 1959, and since has grown to over 7,000 objects including sculptures too which are instaled on the gallery grounds. The works span from the Elizabethan era and includes some of Britain's most prominent artists from past and present.
The Canadian Collection is bursting with paintings, drawings and prints from the 18th centuary to present day and feature lots of famous artists to look at in awe. The International Collection contains artists works from Western Europe and the United States and has sculptures, paintings and decorative art too.
The museum has a local cafe which you'll be able to pick up a refreshment. There's also a retail shop too which sells craft items by local artists, so you'll be supporting them too if you purchase something!
