About Magnetic Hill Zoo

We just LOVE zoos, and Magnetic Hill Zoo isn't any different! This beautiful New Brunswick attraction cares for over 600 animals, and is set on 40 acres of parkland - sound pretty cool! The zoo itself is committed to raising the awareness of endangered species, so kids will really learn a great deal about conservation during their time walking through the creatures that call it home.

From exotic birds, to reptiles, fancy fish and of course those mammals, kids can learn about the creatures of the world without having to leave Moncton!

What's also great about Magnetic Hill Zoo is that they really have the well being of the animals in mind, so you know that they will all be cared for, and happy when you visit!

The time at the zoo is a great learning experience for kids, because from the end of June to Labor Day they can observe those daily animal feedings. The primates, tigers and cute otters will all be waiting to enjoy their feed, as you watch and learn all about their habits and their habitats.

As you walk around the enclosures of Magnetic Hill Zoo, you'll also find information panels where you can really get the most out of the educational side of the experience.

It's worth stopping at some of the engandered species enclosures so kids can really put faces to the conservation efforts the zoo are working on, and realize first hand about why we need to look after our animals. From the Amur leopard, to the tamarin and lemur, they are all there ready to say hello during your next family day out!

Kids will love the animals, and parents will love seeing the kids have amazing encounters, and learn about the creatures of the planet.

So let's go!
