About this activity

Stretching along Gippsland's coastline, Ninety Mile Beach is a pristine haven of natural beauty and tranquility. As you step onto the soft sands that seem to stretch to the horizon, a sense of serenity washes over you. Families will find themselves immersed in a timeless atmosphere, where the rhythmic sound of the waves creates a soothing melody. Children can engage in a treasure hunt of sorts, combing the sands for unique seashells and beach treasures that capture the imagination.

The dunes that border Ninety Mile Beach offer a unique opportunity for exploration. Kids can venture into these sandy landscapes, their footsteps creating a trail that weaves through the dune grasses. The elevated vantage point offers sweeping views of the ocean and the beach, allowing families to witness the meeting of land and sea from a new perspective. These dunes are a canvas for young artists to express their creativity, creating sand sculptures and drawings that become a testament to their seaside adventure.
