Where are we going today?

Did you know that Wild Water West in Sioux Falls has been bringing family fun for over 25 years? That's a LOT of very happy families!

Wild Water West is so much more than a water park. Not only does it have attractions mild to wild in the water park, but they also have great attractions for those active kids, from mini golf to go karts.

But first...the water park! We know you want to hear all about the very cool activities, so let's go!

Have you ever taken on a 55 foot tube slide with a funnel in the middle? Tornado Alley will send you on a thrilling ride on a swirling vortex to get you to the bottom!

Those who love water slides are in luck with the Waterslide Complex, with a 65 foot tower featuring FOUR waterslides...now THAT is impressive!

Make waves with your friends in the 500,000 gallon wave pool, or just take in the atmosphere with the Laxy River.  Don't miss Caribbean Falls which is the largest family-orientated attraction in Wild Water West, with fun for all ages!

Those little ones have their own areas too, including the Activity Pool and Baby Pool - great if they want to be around others their own age!

Then of course - the rest of the fun! Bumper Boats can have water fights with those on land, or you can make your way around their dynamic go karting race track!

Mini golf, batting cages, paintball and sand volleyball round off the family fun that Wild Water West have in store for you - so what are we waiting for?!

I live out of state and was very excited to take my family to this waterpark but it turned out to be not all what I imaged. So my husband and I were on the lazy river with our children and I stopped at the swim up bar to buy 1 beer at the price of $7.00, I kept my card open so that my husband could swim in as you had to be over 21 to enter (which is just fine) and I rode around the river with the kids while he bought 1 beer at the price of $7.00. When he cashed out our tab he stated they didn't give him a receipt. We figured it was due to not want...Read More

Wild Water West called the sheriff on me today for refusing to pay a $5 "escort fee" to retrieve my child from their property. I had been unable to reach him by phone, for obvious reasons, and when I arrived was refused entry unless I paid to enter. When I talked to the manager about it, she was extraordinarily rude and refused to let me in. I will admit that I entered anyway, retrieved my child and was out of their property in under 1 minute.

We like going to Wild Water West a couple of times a summer. I am pleased that they changed their admission policies last year. Now, one admission gets everyone access not only to the water park, but also to the batting cages, go karts, bumper boats and other dry activities. If the day is cool, there is still plenty to do.

When he cashed out our tab he stated they didn't give him a receipt. We figured it was due to not want paper receipt in the river and thought nothing of it because we actually have faith in what seemed to be a nice family run establishment. When I got home and checked my account my card was charged double of what it should of been. After calling a couple times I finally got a response and they stated there was nothing they could do about it without a receipt. I was given no options or given a name of any other manager even though they were in the fault as I was not given a receipt. I am blown away by how they treated this situation. Other complaints are the infant/toddler pool was super slippery. My 2 year old slipped atleast 4 times (was not running at the time) and they have a smoking section very close to the small children's pirate slides and activity gym. Not healthy for your young child's lungs.

WWW called the cops on me and told me I was "disorderly" with their staff. After telling them their policy was "bullS***T" I simply walked out of the office, past the entrance, to the first pool, saw my son, and we walked back to the car. I waited for two families to leave and left.

I understand that they are a private business and can "have their own rules" as stated by the officer I spoke with, however, they also have my minor child on their property and refused to allow me to find him. He went with a friend and it's obviously hard to reach someone who's swimming in the water. Two other upset parents were waiting at the gates for their kids and were also upset about this new "policy".

HORRIBLE handling of the situation. HORRIBLE policy. I will tell EVERYONE about how awful you were. I am sure the two other parents at the gate will also. Ridiculous.
