Where are we going today?

Percy Quin is today a delightful blend of the old and new. Located just two and a half hours from New Orleans. The 1700 acre Percy Quin State Park, which includes a 700 acre lake and a championship golf course, provides a colorful natural backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities.

    Love this park!! So much to do! I know the assistant park manager and the reason there was no water was they were repairing the dam. It is done now. You still can't fish though, for the fish need time to restock. Many beautiful cabins. It's great!

    NO WHERE did they tell us there was not any water! no LAKE, NO place for kids to swim except the pool which is a 2 mile hike from ANY campground! The childrens play area is yet another 1/2 mile from the pool, you aren't allowed to use motorized golf carts,(but yet most had some) This place was the worst place I have ever been I will never go back, they falsified information to get us there and yet no delivery even told us upon entering we had a bad spot, but would not let us change it,charged us for 3 days instead of the two we wanted(said comp...Read More
