About this activity

Get those country boots and hats on - it's rodeo time!

If you're up for a fun day out - and even night out - where a group of people all get together to enjoy a tradition that has been in the country culture for generations, then the Cody Stampede Rodeo might just be for you!

Sit back in the arena, and enjoy the spectacle of the top cowboys and cowgirls all competing to win the prize! They all come together to win the big purses and ride the best stock!

The atmosphere itself at the rodeo is even worth experiencing. Kids will get a kick out of seeing all the animals, and the calves are very sweet. There are also a number of rodeos you can choose from.

A popular event is the Cody Nite Rodeo. This seasonal rodeo has a host of other fun activities, including face painting and souviner shopping - you can even meet the clowns and bull fighters!

Did you know that the Cody Nite Rodeo is the longest running rodeo - it has been going for 76 years - every night! That's dedicated family western entertainment!

Kids can also join in the calf scramble, which is a lot of fun!

If you're there over summer, you can experience the Cody Stampede Rodeo, held over the 4th July weekend where those country folk try and win a HUGE grand prize - it's exciting to watch!

There are slo Wrangler Champions Challenges, and the Cody / Yellowstone Xtreme Bulls evenings, so you have plenty of options!

Don't forget that cowboy hat or cowgirl boots - because it's the Cody Stampede Rodeo and that's just how they roll!
