Will not stay here again. You get what you pay for. At $20 a night, they offer swarms of mosquito's. Can't enjoy anything outside at sundown. We learned real quick to be indoors buttoned up long before they get active. Still we fought them all night long. In our two night stay we killed about 50 of them inside. I went out once to get something from storage and my flashlight revealed swarms of them all over. I have never experienced anything like this before, and wont here again.

This is super nice state park just 20 minutes away from the French Quarter. The campground is clean and very well manicured and maintained. The free laundry facility is a plus. Staff was very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this park.

Love this park. Clean, quiet, spacy site, near new Orléans. Lady at the gate was polite and friendly. Hope to come back one day

After two weeks in Louisiana and about 8 states park, this was the worst. Full of high tech Rev (my neighbour even install a outdoor movie theater) and invade by the worst type type of mosquitoes. The restrooms are freezing cold, the staff at the entrance is rude and it's near the highway. Never again

I will note, this area of the park only had one other camper. I can see about 20 sites and there is no one here. This evening someone pulled in next to us, stayed about 30 minutes and left. We should have done the same thing last night.

Also, FREE Wifi, yes. But you can't access anything. Its 3:30 a.m. and only a few websites with no graphics will load. I am also using a wifi ranger which boosts the signal. During the day you get nothing.
