About this activity

The Manitoba Museum is a centre for heritage and science learning and present Manitoba's rich and diverse history through shows, galleries and exhibits. The museum's collection reflects the herotage of the area and other regions of the world.

There are nine interpretive galleries to explore which takes you through the relationship of people and environment. Travel through millions of years as you journey from the north to south acrod Manitoba's vast and varied landscape. From the icy arctic coast to the prairies!

The museum has a three dimensional walk through gallery which will take you back in time. The planetarium features interactive multimedia shows that recreate the night sky and explores lots of topics including astronomy and space discoveries.

You'll get to experience the wonders of the universe, no matter what age you are!

The science gallery features lots of hands-on exhibits. Push your imagination to the limits, test your senses and explore science, technology and the world around you in a high energy environment for all ages.
