Best botanical garden in Alberta! The butterfly house is awesome as is the Japanese garden.

I complained about the food in the past and wish to change that review now and give it 5 stars all around! The food has become great family friendly fare :)

    Visit, you'll love it!

This is a great place to go - especially for a family outing. I have been to these gardens so many times - during different times of the season (things are constantly changing). I think September is my favourite time to be here. I love the butterfly house.

The U of A Devonian Botanic Garden is one of the Edmonton region's hidden gems: a world-class botanic garden on our doorstep, with the world's northernmost Japanese garden, a butterfly house, education and conservation programmes, and family-friendly festivals throughout the summer. Only 20 minutes from southwest Edmonton using new routes made possible by the Anthony Henday ring road.
