What is there to do?

Oh Shakespeare....Shakespeare....where for art thou Shakespeare? If you're in Edmonton, he might just be there in spirit during the Freewill Shakespeare Festival!

This fun summer festival is a great way for kids to experience the thrill of seeing a Shakespeare performance live. Held over June and July, the evening and matinees are a unique way to spend the day with the family.

The plays vary each season, and more than one play is performed across each year, so you can pick which ones you feel are most fitting for your little ones - or why not see them all!

The idea of seeing a live theatre production in a beautiful amphitheatre in a park is one that they won't be forgetting in a long time. It will just be like they are having their bedtime story read to them, only this time the characters have jumped off the page and are acting it out right in front of them!

Kids new to live theatre will love the excitement and the energy, especially with the other kids around them.

Introduce your family to one of the greatest playwrights that we have ever encountered, or feed their love of The Bard....either way the Freewill Shakespeare Festival is a fun experience for the whole family!
