About Popcorn Park Zoo

If you want a day out at a zoo with a difference, head to Popcorn Park Zoo, because it's so much more than a zoo!

Popcorn Park Zoo is actually a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife that are unable to go back into the wild.  So kids can not only meet the animals, but learn of their story, and understand why it's so important to care for the animals on our planet!

In addition, Popcorn Park Zoo is home to exotic animals, farm animals, and colorful birds.

Soon after your arrival, you might just be greeted at the gate by a gaggle of loud geese who are there to welcome you. Soon after, your day will be filled with a marvelous array of animals from all over the world, including African lions, tigers, grand mountain lions, a camel, cheeky emus, rheas. muntjacs, and even Australian wallabies. We haven't even listed all of the animals either!

Head on over to the monkey house, and many different types of monkeys might just clamor for your attention. Popcorn Park Zoo also houses all kinds of native wildlife including white-tailed and fallow deer, bobcats, an American black bear, and a raccoon.

Make sure you take a trip to check out the farm animals such as horses, sheep, pigs and goats.  If your kids love the scaley creatures, the reptiles and tortoises enjoy their own special house.

A beautiful family day out with educational experiences, that bring invaluable lessons and stories into your kids day.
