It's all about the wonderful world of art at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville! Also known as MOCA Jacksonville, this family day out experience can give kids a day of inspiration, and creativity, and appreciation.
There are always a number of permanent exhibitions at MOCA Jacksonville, as well as temporary ones. This means kids can always visit their favorites, but see something new at the same time.
The beauty of MOCA is that children can learn that art isn't just paintings. The exhibits cover a range of "art", including sculptures, photography, sketches and more.
MOCA Jacksonville primarily collects work from the 1960s to presents. The permanent collection consists of about 1,000 works of art, which is pretty incredible! Works on paper, new media and printmaking add to the list of art forms that can be seen.
It's a great way for children to start exploring what art means to them, and seeing their opinions on it all. Suitable for the older children, MOCA Jacksonville might even just inspire the family to become the next Picasso of their own!
The museum also offer creative art experiences for families and children, as well as plenty of educational offerings for them too.
So why not get in touch with your creative side, and experience a day surrounded by some amazing art that might just inspire!Suggest an edit
