oh where to begin…bobby is one of the most negative witches i have ever met and her husband dave is an alcoholic that operates the parks mowing equiptment/ golf carts/ and his truck with a beer in one hand and the wheel in the other …..a huge potential liability to the owners of the park if he hits someones kid, or has an accident while traveling between there and little thicket. (lazy day’s sister park) the concept that the customer is always right……does not exist here!!!!i called and asked them to reset their wireless routers when the internet went down (which happens all the time) and these were the responces i got:(bobby): if you need stable internet then you need too call the cable company and buy service yourself(dave): if you don’t like it you can leave the parkwhile there is no extra charge for kids here, if you have them you will find out fast enough that these 2 managers don’t like them…..watch how fast your kids are banned from the pool, or have curfews placed on them.the power is unstable to say the least….while i was there 2 rv’s lost their dc inverters (one was mine, $220 repair….just parts) all because they are too cheap to use certified electricians and the meters were not grounded properly.the bath houses are old, dirty, poorly lit and the entire park has a serious ant problem.the best advise i got there was if you don’t like it leave….so thats exactly what i did…..and some friends i made left with me. between the 3 of us i figure they ran off $1260.00 a month in park income.i’m sure they tell the owners people are leaving because of the rent increase…truth of the matter is people are leaving because of the managers customer service skills…or the lack there of !!!i had to go back one more time for my mail box deposit, and one of the owners happened to be onsite….i tried to voice my complaints about the managers to him, but he seemed unconcered….then dave tried to physically shove me out of the office (he’s damn lucky i didn’t have him thrown in jail for assult) best advise i can give anyone looking for an rv park near hitchcock, tx is too steer clear of lazy day’s or little thicket at all cost’s, don’t make the same mistake i did !!!!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY AT!! I stayed here for about 4 months and in that time the managers had free hamburgers compliments of the owner all you had to do is go and eat it was great. The pool is awesome it is the cleanest pool i have ever seen. The manager would clean it everyday like clockwork. There were some nice people overall who stayed there. If i was back in the area i would defenitely stay here again without even trying somewhere else. This is the place to be. There are many bad reviews but that was from a long time ago this place is great!!

Managers are doing a great job! Speed limit is enforced, pool is super clean and strangers are confronted. Grounds are well kept and trash free. Our children are safe and enjoying the outdoors. The pavilion needs foundation work but is still a great place to enjoy the shade. Contemporary worship services are held each week at 2p.m. in the office. Great place for the price!

I stayed at Lazy Days for two months and didn’t have any problems. It is very quiet and feels like you live in the country. I was there when the people were asked to leave due to them being hateful, complainers and stirring up stuff in the park…now they are writing negative reviews about Ron and Melissa…NOT TRUE! They are just mad. Ron and Melissa have really improved the park in the two months we were there. It’s looking great…very quiet and friendly place to stay. Best place for the money hands down!
