What is there to do?

Fresno Chaffee Zoo is home to approximately 190 species from all across the globe, with more always on the way, so if you LOVE animals (as we do), then you better head on down!

Fresno Chaffee Zoo has a host of mammals, fish, birds, and reptiles, that kids can see close up, watch, admire, and learn about!

You don't need to travel to the plains of Africa to check out those amazing African elephants, or watch the proud African lion. You don't have to dive into the ocean to meet with the California sea lion, or habor seal. You don't have to trek the jungles of Asia to look a Malayan tiger in the eye, or watch the orangutan's at play.

There are strange emus, and colorful flamingos, and have you ever heard a kookaburra laugh? You might just want to stick around for that!

Fresno Chaffee Zoo is FILLED with incredible species - and some kids might never have even heard about before!

Also at this amazing zoo, of the 190 species - nearly 40 are either endangered or extinct in the wild. This also means that kids can enjoy invaluable learning experiences as they understand about why it's so important to look after our beautiful animals!

Kids can excavate a full size T Rex on the Dino Dig, feed giraffes, or learn about agriculture at Valley Farm!

Fresno Chaffee Zoo also hosts fun special events, allows you to enjoy exclusive encounters with animals, and even let the kids have ever MORE fun on week long adventure camps!
