Kids, are you ready to experience the wonders of science and ignite a passion for endless exploration? Great, because we're off to Discovery World in Milwaukee!
Discovery World is a super fun hands-on (and very interactive!) science museum which bring out the spark of joy in a child’s eyes when they make a connection with a living creature.
The various exhibits throughout the space will allow kids to learn, play, and enjoy that satisfying “Aha” when they discover something they didn’t even know they were looking for!
There is SO much for kids to enjoy at Discovery World!
First, why don't we talk about the aquarium! Kids can see strange, beautiful, and fascinating creatures from all around the world, offering them a chance to pet stingrays in their Touch Tank, and even adorable turtles, ball pythons, poison dart frogs, and more!
They can unleash their inner architect at the Block Party, or master Morse Code in the Innovation Station. They might even want to take control and pilot their very own plane!
From learning about the Great Lakes, to designing and creating at the Kohl's Design It! Lab on weekends, Discovery World is THE place for curious and innovative kids to really thrive!

Do they have baby facilities?
An all-gender family/companion restroom is located on the 1st floor near the Admissions Desk. Strollers are available to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There is no charge to rent.
To access a private location for nursing mothers or anyone who needs a private space, please inquire at the Admissions Desk.
I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Discovery World?
You can! Downtown Kitchen Express by Bartolotta’s is the café at Discovery World, and offers a variety of grab and go items including a selection of favorites such as pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, salads and sandwiches, all packaged to go.
Discovery World Members receive a 10% discount on their Downtown Kitchen Express purchases.
Does Discovery World have a gift shop?
There is a great gift shop that's worth stopping by! From merchandise to souvenirs, toys, and science related items, make sure you grab something to remember your time! Discovery World Members receive a 10% discount on their Gift Shop purchases.
Teachers corner
Discovery World is a great place for students! Schools can take their learning beyond the classroom with Discovery World’s onsite field trips and school programs that encourage exploration and put the wonder of science in your hands.
Make sure you book at least 3 weeks in advance.
