I had not been to the center for a long time and went this past Sunday with a family friend from another country. I had a delightful experience. The facility is sun drenched and airy and the staff was professional and hospitable. I ended up interacting with three center staff members who were informative, friendly, and professional. I will go back again soon. Too much to see in one day and you can always see a movie and have lunch in the Rose Garden.

Endeavor alone is worth the visitCheap/free and tons of exhibits. Great for families with kids although it does get very busy there.Any age group can appreciate the space shuttle, give yourself 1.5 – 2 hrs just to see that exhibit.Check out usca campus across the street while your in the area, one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen and lots of lunch options which are much better than the science center.

Go early during the day so you can catch all the shows! The exhibits are soooo much fun and interesting! This is one of my favorite museums and Tess is my favorite show! This museum is donation only (FREE) but give generously if you can cause its really amazing! This museum packs a full day’s visit and has a decent food area. I have noticed they’ve gotten rid of some of the restaurants but old faithful “McDonald’s” is still there. There’s 3 floors of wonders! There’s fun little rides that cost up to $5 each (like the high wire bike and rock climbing) but I’ve never had time to do them. I like that this museum is all about TOUCHING EVERYTHING! Finally a place where kids are NOT told, “don’t touch that” or “don’t break that”. Each area is interesting and informative and the museum even has workbooks or maps for the kids at the Information desk that explains each exhibit and gives them a stamp for having visited each area! The exhibits change throughout the year as do the movies in the IMAX theater. There is a charge for the IMAX and they have snacks….like regular theater snacks! There are several museums in the area and this one takes a full day cause there’s so much to do. Check them out online before you go to check out their day’s activities! If you’re a tourist to Cali, this should be one of your stops if you like museums!

A great educational experience. There is always something new to discover especially when you are with the little ones. Some of the exhibits are now a bit outdated; but this museum still brings in the crowds.
