About LACMA

LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States, and there are nearly 152,000 objects and over 6,000 years of artistic expression from across the glove! There's lots to see here for anyone wanting to experience the region's rich cultural heritage.

For families and children there are lots of public programs available to ignite their creativity. There are art classees where children can paint, collage and more! Experiment with art materials, build new skills and discover the art in the museum's collection. The classes are ran by a team of creative and professional teaching artists, and they do lots of different workshops too.

During school breaks, why not sign up for art camp? It's a great experience for children over the age of six years old.

The Boone Children’s Gallery is a creative space where visitors of all ages are invited to explore the art of brush painting. Friendly and helpful staff introduce painting techniques, offer tips and much more.

Check out the website to keep up to date with the latest exhibitions so you know what's happening when you pay the museum a visit!
