Conveniently located near Boston, Cape Cod, Newport, and Providence, Battleship Cove is a maritime heritage museum preserving the worlds largest collection of historic naval ships. This unique destination encompasses five National Historic Landmarks, including Battleship Massachusetts, Destroyer Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., Submarine Lionfish, two fully restored PT Boats and the largest PT Boat Museum collection in the world. Also, explore the Hiddensee, the world's only publicly exhibited Soviet-built missile corvette, and our growing aviation collection, including the new Cobra AH-1 Attack Helicopter.
Recently appointed as Massachusetts official memorial to its victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Battleship Cove serves as the Bay States official veterans memorial for World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf Conflicts.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Battleship Cove?
The Wardroom Grille is available for breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day. Choose from hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, BBQ chicken sandwiches, New England Style Fish & Chips,soups, fries, and beverages. Ice cream and snacks are available.
Any top tips when visiting?
Wear comfortable shoes as you will be going from one ship to another to see all our exhibits. Plan to bring a poncho on a rainy day. Most of the exhibits are inside but you need to get from one ship to another.
Does Battleship Cove have a gift shop?
The Gift Shop offers a wide variety of souvenirs from authentic dog tags, ball caps, sweatshirts, t-shirts, models, books, key chains, coffee cups & mugs. See our on-line store for more items.
