Royal Air Force Museum London has plenty to see and do for all aviation enthusiasts! Explore the six hangars that are full of exhibits, fly your drone with one of the interactives and enjoy plenty of family trails and activities.
In Hangar 1 you'll discover how the Royal Air Force has delivered missions through stories, objects and films and games! In Hangar 2 you'll discover the earliest days of flights and Hanagrs 3, 4, 5 showcases extraordinary bombers, seaplanes, trainers and helicopters. Hangar 6 tells the stories of the RAF personnel who have served during the period of change.
Children can try on RAF uniform and go through the sensory areas including tactile models of aircrafts and other objects. Test your reaction timing and work together on engineering challenges and you can even take the pilots seat!
Sit in a miniature train and learn how to fly a Gnat in a simulator, there's lots of interactive activities to get involved in, no matter how old you are!
There are also lots of family friendly trails that you can pick up at the entrance that will help your visit one to remember.
