About this activity
Parliament Hill Lido is an outdoor swimming pool, open all year round! Located in Hampstead Heath it's a 60 metre long, open air pool that welcomes all abilities to make a splash!
The lido was first opened in 1938, so it's steeped in history and the layout hasn't changed since! It does remain unheated and welcomes thousands of visitors every year and is one of the most oldest and famous lidos in London.
The pool actually has a stainless steel pool liner, the one one in an outdoor pool in the UK, so it gives the water a metallic shimmer! It can feel a little chilly in the pool, but you can use wetsuits if you need it.
They run two sessions a day, 7-9am and 10am - 6pm with an adults only evening session on certain days. There's also a smaller addling pool for the under fives too, making it a great spot to go when the weather is sunny!
Onsite you'll find warm showers, changing rooms and a cafe to make it a pleasant lido to visit all year round.
