Aldenham Country Park

Aldenham Country Park is a not for profit country park based on 100 acres of countryside, and it's just 12 miles from central london too! They're open serven days a week and has lots of attractions and activities to get the whole family involved. 

You can visit the farm and meet a wide selection of farm animals including cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, ponies and many more! They even run small animal petting sessions that run everyday during te week and you can even get the full farm experience by riding on their tractors at the weekend! 

There is a dance tunnel, bouncy castle, hay bale play and ride on tractors that will enterain the little ones. They also give you an activity booklet, where you'll have to find all the bears hidden around the farm. Once you've found all ten bears head to the farm shop where you'll be able to collect your reward. 

The adventure playground has swings, climbing frames, zip lines and a sandpit area too! It's part of SEND and is a great place for children of all ages and abilities to play as there's lots of sensory play including sound, light, touch and colour. 

If you're a fan of Winnie the Pooh and friends, you'll find the well-loved character's house in 100 Aker Wood! Why not play a game of Pooh sticks too or enjoy a picnic with your family and friends! 

There's also lots of self-guided trails too and it's the chance to spot some wildlife including ducks, geeze, swans and squirrels too! It's set in beautful surroundings which makes a great place to have a picnic and relax within nature.
