Planetarium at the Royal Observatory is a great day out for the whole family! You'll get up close and personal with the stars in one of their shows which are all led by one of the expert astronomers.
There are amazing visualiations and real-life space photography for a unique glimpse of the night sky, with live commentary! They have daily shows too which are a classic guide to the night sky. The shows are suitable for adults ans families and you'll learn about some astronomical sights so that you can spot for yourself in the show!
You'll be talked through the world of constellation, meteor showers and everything in between!
The shows last for up to 30 minutes in total, and is located at the top of a hill with spectacular views across London. Make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's on!
During your visit you can also visit the observatory too for an unmissable day out. Expore the moons of the solar system in the workshops, and for under seven's you can join Ted the bear on an adventure around the solar system!
The nearest rail stations are Greenwich and Maze Hill. Direct trains run to these stations from London Cannon Street and London Bridge.
