Denham Country Park is a fantastic place to get outside and explore the surrounding countryside. The main attractions are the rivers Colne and Misbourne flowing through the park, and even a paddling beach which is great in the summer months.
At the park you'll find an adventure zone which is complete with a sandpit, trail, slides, treehouse, swings and frames that are guaranteed to burn off the kids energy! The park is the gateway to the wider Colne Valley with lots of local footpaths and bridleways. You'll be able to head to the towpath along the Grand Union canal too.
Head to the visitor centre to pick up some walking leaflets and maps and some tips on where to go in the area! You're able to bring your bike here too and cycle through the park if you prefer two wheels instead walking!
If you're in need of a bite to eat there is a cafe in the visitor centre serving a range of hot and cold refreshments and ice-cream so you can refuel!
It's the perfect opportunity to explore the area, spot wildlife and have some fun outside!

The Café in the Visitor Centre is run by Groundwork South and serves a range of hot and cold meals with indoor and outdoor seating. The Eco hub next to the play area serves drinks and ice cream.
There are spaces available for blue badge holders in the main car park. The café and veranda are accessible for wheelchairs and there is a short circular walk on flat but unsurfaced ground through accessible gates that takes in the banks of the Colne and Misbourne meadow.
