About this activity

Langley Park in Buckinghamshire is the perfect place for a fun and memirable day out! It's lne of Buckinghamshire's best kept secrets! Langley Park is steeped in history and a nationally important haven for wildlife. The stunning Rhododendron collection in the Temple Gardens is an explosion of colour from April to June, with views to Windsor Castle and beyond! In Kings Wood and out into the wider parkland veteran Oak and Chestnut trees, some planted by Capability Brown, provide valuable habitats for rare and endangered invertebrates! So why not enjoy the stunning views and see what crazy wildlife you can spot? To complement all of this there is a fantastic Tea Room serving hot and cold snack and homemade cakes, a children’s play garden, arboretum and history and tree trails! Langley Park offers a great day out for the young and old alike.

As well as this, there's a brand new adventure playpark introduced in 2012! Located just a couple of minutes walk from the car park, the Play Garden is aimed at young children and combines natural play with the traditional. There are wooden houses, tunnels and slides, see saws and swings, and natural bamboo and boulders to play amongst! Orienteering, cycle and walking trails are also available and waymarked.
