This Texan city founded by a Texas Ranger in 1876 (lucky Ranger!) gives those kids big city delights but with a small town welcome! The city has a huge musical history (Kids - ask your parents about Buddy Holly!) and heaps of places to go with kids! (Including FREE attractions - that’s what we like to hear!)
Love bugs and nature? The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum (is FREE!) and is a great place for kids to run around in nature, and explore all the gardens where they can look for those little creepy crawlies. Lubbock is also great for kids who love to play! The Legacy Play Village is a huge outdoor village where kids can climb, play and imagine (and…it’s FREE too!)
Lubbock and rides? You bet! Joyland Park has over 30 (yep!) rides and attractions which are perfect for the whole family, and on those hot summer days Lubbock Water Rampage is GREAT with it’s giant water slides and tidal waves!
Got a day to spend enjoying Lubbock? Good! There’s is PLENTY of kids fun! Enjoy!
