Where are we going today?
It's always nice during your camping trip to have fun things to entertain the kids with. Maybe you might get a playground, or a pool? At Smokey Hollow Campground, let us give you a little insight into what your kids can spend their days doing!
A dunk tank in a campground? You better believe it! Face painting and water wars games? Yes! Mini golf, a pumpkin coach, a jumping pillow, climbing rock wall, weekend wagon rides...shall we keep going?
Outdoor movies, pedal cycles, basketball court, swimming pond, bikes and trikes, cold river mining (Yep - Mining!), carnival rides, light parades, candy bar bingo, jousting...shall we continue?
How about weekend fun with treasure hunts, nail painting, air arcade, sumo wrestling, karaoke, glitter tattoos (don't worry Mom they're not real!), all you can eat ice-cream....And just to remind you, we're not writing about the greatest fairground in the country. Just Smokey Hollow Campground!
It's incredible! And we haven't started on the accommodations yet! All campsites come with water, electric, a fire ring, picnic table, and lots of space. If you don't have an RV, never fear! Why not stay in a cabin, or wagon, or yurt, or gazebo, or park motel...the choice is yours! You can also camp in a primitive tent site with water and electric if you prefer. Did we mention you can stay in a BUS!
There are so many super fun things for kids to do at Smokey Hollow Campground, just make sure you pack the camera – you won’t want to be missing a second of your family time together!

Smokey Hollow is very family oriented campground-we had a blast and already scheduled a trip back in September for Halloween Fest. The staff there is absolutely amazing and very helpful. Ann the manager is very people friendly and willing to help in anyway--I give her 5 stars for her hard work and dedication to the campground. The campground is very clean and bathrooms are always kept up. They have lots of kid friendly activities through out the day, and the cost is low. It was an awesome experience and we cant wait to go back!!!! I give this...Read More

There were lots of activities for the kids, but they were not free. The showers received numerous complaints from our group. Cell phone coverage was horrible and the campground wifi was unreachable at our site. The campground supplied hose at the dump station was broke and leaked. The self propelled shopping cart was a hit and overall the kids had a great time. The campsites were expensive to begin with and having to buy wristbands for the kids turned this into an above average costing camping trip.

This place is an absolute MUST for inexpensive family fun. We stayed in the converted motor coach accomodations and the kids LOVED it. So much stuff to do in a safe, kid-friendly environment. Great staff, super clean accomodations, and best of all, we never heard "we're bored" from the kids. The owner really caters to the kids and made the experience here even more enjoyable. This was our first trip here, but I'm sure we will make this a regular summertime get-away from now on.

Owner/Manager was a JERK! NO PEOPLE or CUSTOMER SERVICE skills! They nickle and dime you all the way also. Besides the high price to camp there, you are right on top of the next campsite, $25 extra per kid if your kid want to do the stuff that should be free like the jumping pillow, and petal cars, plus a $5 depoist on the wristband itself for the kid, $1 for a shower that was FREEZING cold water. Let's just say we will not be back!
