Where are we going today?

Within the 400 acres of Lakeside Park one can enjoy boating or canoeing on the south corner of Lake Winnebago, numerous waymarked trails and about as much nature as anyone can reasonably handle.

But there's also a miniature train, antique carousel and several playgrounds spread throughout to treat the kids for the exercise.

Plus explore the Lakeside Park Lighthouse and enjoy the views from the observation tower April 15 through October 15 from 8am to dusk, weather permitting.

Looking for a new and interesting smell that you lack words to describe? Then take a stroll around Lake Merritt. Located in beautiful Oak Land this is a must visit destination for anyone tired of smelling anything remotely describable as pleasant.

Beautiful in the day, romantic & relaxing in the evening ~ would normally give it an excellent rating, however, there is a lot of road work/construction going on right now so be prepared for some re-routes and slight delays. Other than that, it's great!
