I’ve been here three times over the course of 10 years. It’s an 8 hour drive for me but well worth it. The safety of one way trails, strict alcohol policy, piece and quiet at night make it worth while. I’ve stayed in cabins every time. These are not the Ritz but acceptable. After a long day of riding they are great, unless you are some spoiled yuppie that’s never stayed in the woods then I can see where you’d leave an unfavorable review. The restaurant is usually pretty good, not great but acceptable. However the steak and bbq chicken are fantastic. I have not used the rental department but it looks like they have a great selection.

My wife and I were first-time ATV riders, and as this was our first time here, we shared (took turns) on one of the rental ATV’s (Honda TRX 250X). The staff here at Durhamtown (Marquis especially) made us feel comfortable and right at home on the machine. The TRX had plenty of power to move my 180#’s all over the place! There are plenty of trails here for ALL skill levels. Our son, with his Yamaha Warrior, talked us into coming – we left with no regrets and look forward to coming back soon!

Staff rude and cursed at children under the age of 10. Not one track was prepped. Drag light on drag strip was busted, and didn’t work. They used to send a huge water truck around to spray trails and tracks, but that was obviously during the time they were trying to build customers. Now they don’t prep anything. Cabin was filthy, and had mold in various places. The food from the kitchen was comparible to food in the prison system. Most of the staff is rude, and leaves you feeling like you didn’t pay an arm and a leg to ride.Trails are no longer maintenanced. Huge ruts, dips, and rocks. Very dusty conditions because they no longer send the water truck around. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! THE OWNER HAS GOTTEN FILTHY RICH, AND FORGOT WHAT IT TOOK TO GET HIM THERE.SAVE YOU’RE MONEY AND RIDE ELSEWHERE, EVEN IF IT’S YOUR BACK YARD!!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Our family goes to Durhamtown 8 to 12 times a year. Sometimes we take an rv and sometimes we rent a cabin depending upon the circumstances. There is no other place like it and for the price they charge it is worth every penny. Yes some of the cabins and trailers are rough, but we are dirtbike riding, we are filthy, everything we have is filthy, and there is no way they can keep it spotless. I’m sure they could make it first class, but we would have to pay for it, so I think they do a great job for what they charge. I could care less how nice the cabin is when i’m dead beat from riding. All I want to do is sleep so I can get rest for the next day of fun. For us, this place is awesome and worth every penny. The variety of trails, tracks etc makes it a blast. We started out trail riding on fourwheelers, then switched to dirtbikes, then doing the easy tracks, now we are jumping everything and starting to race. If you are a true enthusiast you will love this place.

Just got back and was very pleased with the Jeep trails and staff was very friendly. Lunch wasn’t spectacular but at least we didn’t have to go into town for food. We got stuck but was able to winch ourself out. Don’t be fooled by the “small” mud hole next to the hill climbs! We will definitely go back, thanks for the hospitality!
