There is so much history and culture within New York State, it's no surprise that the Children's Museum of the East End was created, as it's dedicated to offering kids and families an insight into the history of the East End, and all who call it home!
The Children's Museum of the East End is filled with informative and interactive exhibits that allow kids to learn through play!
They can sail the seas on the museum's seafaring ship, or spend some time with the cute sand puppets!
Creative kids can show off their talents in the free Drop In Studio, where they can try and create a masterpiece, or heck out the traveling exhibits within the Legacy Family Tree Gallery!
Feel like sitting down and reading for a while? Just head on over to the upside-down library book and read for a while. Maybe kids would rather help run the diner and food truck!
Ever heard of mini golf in a museum? There is at the Children's Museum of the East End! Kids can learn physics, and develop that hand-eye coordination as they try and get a hole in one within the 9-hole mini golf course. How much fun is that!?
The Museum also hold family events across the year, so keep an eye out for what's on! There are Easter adventures, pizza and pajama nights, and even LEGO clubs! Great for the whole family and a great way to enjoy new and exciting activities each time you visit.
There are also classes such as Tot Spot and Baby & Me where those little ones can enjoy early learning experiences. They really have thought of everything!
