We LOVE zoos here at Family Days Out, but we love them even more when we know that the animals have been given a second chance at life. The Animal Farm Petting Zoo in New York State is 10 acres of very happy animals.

Most of the animal arrived through their rescue program, and now live in the country ready to make friends with families like yours! It's the perfect place for the whole family to interact up-close with the animals. 

The reserve is filled with shady trees, and colorful gardens, and open spaces to stroll and relax, which makes for a lovely day out!

Animal Farm Petting Zoo has creatures from all around the world. From monkeys, camels, llamas, wallabies, mini horses, piglets, parrots, tortoises, chickens, and much more. It's a great way for kids to really learn about these animals, and where they came from. It's also an amazing way for kids to learn about looking after animals, and how important it is that we care for them.

Don't forget to learn about the animals stories, as that will really give them a good sense of why it's important.

Of course, Animal Farm Petting Zoo is actually much MORE than a zoo! There is a fun puppet theatre, as well as playgrounds for those kids who have that bit of extra energy. There is even a Safari family train that you can enjoy, AND they offer a FREE pony ride!

You can't get much better than that! Now all you have to remember is to take the camera - you won't want to forget that!
