Children's Discovery Museum San Jose
Where are we going today?
It's SO much fun when kids can visit a place which is just for them! A place where they can learn through play, fun, experimentation, using their imagination and using all of their senses.
Welcome to the Children's Discovery Museum! This family friendly museum is one of the largest in the entire USA! With 150 exhibits all there for the sole purpose of teaching children about the world we live in, it will certainly keep them entertained!
How about exploring the art world with the Art Gallery? Kids can encounter and understand how cultures and individuals can express themselves through the various means of visual arts. If they are inspired, the Art Loft is a place where kids can create their OWN artwork!
BUBBLES! Everyone loves bubbles, and at the Children's Discovery Museum there is a whole exhibit just on these amazing spheres of fun. The family can even have a competition to see who can create the biggest one!
If you want a MAMMOTH experience, then kids - get those goggles on, pick up those chisels and help uncover a replica mammoth fossil in your special dig pits. You will know what you're looking for, because there will be a full size skeleton right next to you!
Children can experience the excitement of a big city in a very safe environment, or pick up some local produce down at the market and cook up a storm in their mini kitchen. There are water attractions, as well as a theatre with drop in workshops and live performances.
See - we told you there was a lot to do, and we haven't even told you everything yet! The rest we will leave as a surprise!
So grab the whole family and have a hands-on family day out filled with FUN!

My son loves this place. The fire truck and the ambulance are big hits. The temporary exhibits have been great thus far. We bought an annual membership so we can go as often as we like. The staff at the cafeteria are very friendly.
